1. General


Age of Admittance

2 years to 11 years of age.


Setting Services

  • Preschool: 2yrs - 4yrs

  • Before & After School: 4yrs - 11yrs

  • Holiday Club: 4yrs - 11yrs


Hours of Opening

The Setting is open Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6.00pm.


Weeks Open

The setting is operational 51 weeks of the year excluding certain days around the Christmas and New Year period. We are closed during all 8 public bank holidays and no deductions shall be made to fees to take account of public holidays when the setting is closed. These dates are available in advance.


If the setting takes the decision to close due to events or circumstances that are outside our control, we shall be under no obligation to provide alternative childcare facilities to you. No compensation will be paid or refund given, however if the closure exceeds 3 days in duration (excluding any days when the setting would otherwise be closed), we will credit you with an amount that represents the number of days the setting is closed in excess of 3 days.


Preschool Settling In / Gradual Admissions

It is our aim to allow all children time for settling in, so that the child can form relationships with our staff and become familiar within the setting surroundings.  Each child and their needs differ so the length of time for settling in varies from child to child.  We allow for up to 2 settling in sessions free of charge across the span of the week prior to the start date.


We request that a parent must complete all of the registration forms and permission forms in advance of the start date and that the week before the start date a parent attend the setting so that they can read all policies and procedures and staff can obtain the relevant child related information and consent to ensure a smooth transition into setting.



We reserve the right to make amendments to the terms and conditions of your childcare contract without notice. The current terms and conditions are published online.


Change of Details

You must immediately inform us of any changes to your contact or bank details. It is your responsibility to update any alterations to the information from your registration regarding your child (e.g. Medical Conditions).


Court order

You must inform us if your child is the subject of a court order and provide us with a copy of such order on request.



Parents are asked to provide supplies of their preferred nappies when required. These will be kept in the child’s individual boxes/bag. Additional nappy changing materials will be provided by the setting.


Off Premises Visits

Staff will often take the children for walks in the community or visits off premises during the course of their sessions in accordance with statutory staffing requirements and parental consent being obtained.


Mobile Phone

To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children who attend our setting we enforce a no personal mobile phone usage within our settings. Should you be on your personal mobile phone as you arrive at the setting can we please ask that you conclude your phone call before entering the premises and do not use this again until you have left the setting.

Complaints or Concerns

I understand that if I have any complaints, I will follow the correct complaints procedure provided and that voicing negative opinions regarding the service of Enya’s Childcare verbally to others or on any form of social media or review sites prior to doing so will result in termination of your contract as this is confirmation that you are unhappy to continue with the services.  


Customer satisfaction is of paramount importance to us and any concerns/complaints will be reported to the appropriate person for investigation. If you have a concern or complaint if possible please speak to the setting manager or deputy manager, alternatively you can email the Setting Manager. If you have any concerns regarding the services we provide, please discuss these with your child's keyworker. If these concerns have not been resolved to your satisfaction please contact the Setting Manager.


The complaint procedure and complaint form are accessible to you at all times and can be obtained without permission from the staff/setting.  


Employment or Solicitation of Staff

If, during this childcare contract and for a period of 6 months after the termination of this contract, you (directly or indirectly) employ or otherwise engage the services of any previous or current member of our staff who has had contact with your child under this contract then you will be liable to pay compensation and you will be invoiced a fee of £2,000.00 as payment to us recruiting and training a suitable replacement member of staff.



2. Medical


Emergency Treatment

Any child who attends Setting and has an accident whilst in our care will be given first aid treatment by staff. All our staff are paediatric first aid trained and this will of course include the treatment of minor cuts, bumps or bruises.


Any emergency treatment or medical advice will be permitted unless a parent states in writing otherwise. The Setting does not accept any responsibility for treatment given against parent’s wishes if we have not been informed otherwise.


Accident Book

All Parents will be informed of any accident and required to sign an accident form. In the case of a more serious accident or incident a child will be taken immediately to a doctor or the nearest hospital and parents will be informed.



The Setting will make every effort to notify parents should their child become ill at the Setting. Senior staff reserve the right to remove the child to hospital in an emergency. Please note minimum exclusion periods apply and must be adhered to; our policy and guidelines are available from the setting manager.


The Setting has a full written policy on Illness and Accident, which is accessible to you at the setting. You confirm that you have read our Illness and Accident policy and agree with its terms.


Contagious Disease

For the benefit of the other children in the setting, you must not allow your child to attend the setting if they are suffering from a contagious disease which could easily be passed on to another child during normal daily activities of the setting.


The Setting reserves the right to refuse to accept children until the Setting is satisfied they are not infectious. This is to protect other children from cross infection. The Setting’s exclusion policy is guided by the relevant local Authority.


If in doubt

If your child is suffering from a doubtful rash, sore throat, discharge from the eyes, nose, diarrhoea or any similar symptoms; please keep the child at home until the doctor has certified that the symptoms have disappeared.


You must inform us immediately if your child is diagnosed with any allergy or intolerance.



If your child is prescribed antibiotics, please keep them at home until 48 hours dosage has been administered in case of adverse reaction to the medication. Antibiotics and medicines will only be administered by Setting staff after the child has been taking them for more than 48 hours at home, and only then with written authorisation from their parent. A doctor must prescribe all antibiotics.



3. Child Security and Protection


Child Protection

Any child who attends the Setting, irrespective of their racial origin, gender, physical or mental impairment, class, religion or cultural background has a right to protection from neglect, physical, sexual or any other abuse and it is our priority to keep children safe from harm whilst in our care.


The Setting has a full written policy on Child Protection, which is accessible to you at the setting. You confirm that you have read our Child Protection policy and agree with its terms


Delivery of children

Children should be delivered by parents/carers passed the door threshold into the building and then secondly into care of a Setting Staff Member. The time will then be entered into the attendance register.


Collection of Children

Children will not be released into the care of anyone other than those named on the childcare registration form unless authorised by the parents personally, by telephone or in writing. If we are not reasonably satisfied that an individual is allowed to collect your child, we will not release your child into their care. We will also require a password from the individual, which will be chosen by the parent.


In addition, a personal visit of introduction by the parents, of anyone who will be collecting the child on occasions is encouraged so we are able to confirm their identity. You are required to inform us immediately if you are unable to collect your child from setting by the official collection time. All collections must be by an adult over 16 years of age. 


There will be a charge for early drop off’s or late pick-up’s at the rate of £5 for every 10 minutes per child. This charge is in place due to ratio management being disrupted.


If you do not collect your child by 6:30pm, and Enya’s Childcare has been unable to reach you or any of your emergency contacts, I understand that staff will follow its Uncollected Children Policy and contact social care.


Social Services

It is our obligation to require or seek professional advice or actions from the local social services team if we suspect a child is suffering from harm. We have an obligation to report any instances where we consider that a child may have been neglected or abused to the relevant authorities. We may do so without your consent and/or without informing you.


Behaviour Management

The Setting has a full written policy on Behaviour Management, which is accessible to you at the setting. You confirm that you have read our Behaviour Management policy and agree with its terms


The use of any form of physical chastisement, verbal humiliation, or aggressive handling of a child is not acceptable at the Setting.



I understand that aggressive and abusive behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated.



4. Property and Premises


Personal Property

The Setting does not accept responsibility for loss or damage of personal property brought on to the premises by children or parents. Please discourage your child from bringing items of value to the setting.



You accept that your child may take part in messy activities while at Enya’s Childcare and we do not take responsibility for damaged clothing. We provide a t-shirt when starting a placement with us and we recommend that you purchase any further Enya’s Childcare clothing as required. These need to be ordered by parents online via our website and be delivered direct to parents, alternatively parents can pick orders up direct from the store.


Parents are requested to send children in easily washable, clearly labelled clothing which is appropriate to the weather conditions. Please provide a spare set of clothing for your child in case of an accident or the need for a change of clothing.


Car Park

Drivers are asked to drive at a very slow speed and be cautious before arriving and setting off. We are able to offer limited car parking spaces for pick up and drop off however please keep several metres clear of the door. Parents are afforded a 10 minute period in which to drop off/collect children, your vehicle parked in the Setting car park is parked at your own risk.



5. Food and Drink



Fresh drinking water is available to all children throughout the day.


For the School children and older preschool children, water is available for them to help themselves when thirsty, this promotes independence and self-help skills. For the younger children water and milk will be available and offered throughout the day at designated snack and meal times in either beakers or cups depending upon the age and stage of development of the children.


All children will be encouraged by the staff to drink water throughout the day as part of our commitment to offering healthy food and drink options alongside health and safety/hydration standards.


Meals & Snacks

Depending on their sessions, children will be provided with drinks and snacks at regular morning and afternoon snack times along with two nutritious, balanced meals daily. Menus are available for parents to see, we may charge for meals. You are expected to provide one packed lunch and drinks bottle for your child per day at the designated lunch time, this allows for eating on location when out on our daily walks in the community.



6. Childcare Registration


Confirmation of Your Childcare Place

Availability is assessed on a quarterly basis, taking in to account any leavers or room moves. After a scheduled show around of our setting, and if you have decided to join our waitlist, we will inform you if a place comes available and give you the option to confirm your childcare placement. Intake happens at the beginning of every month with a minimum attendance of 2 full sessions for preschool. All conditions are subject to availability. 


If your child does not receive a place to start at the requested time, they will remain on the waiting list until a place becomes available.


Waiting List

To join the waiting list, parents are required to pay a registration fee of £25. Once your payment has been received you will be sent an email confirming that you are on the waiting list. If you decide to leave the waiting list, the £25 will be refunded. Upon accepting a place up to 4 months prior to the start date, this fee will become non-refundable (unless you are fully funded).


If our waiting lists are closed, we will invite you to join our Updates mailing list, via which we’ll let you know of any waiting list changes.



Allocation of places: 


Places are offered on the basis of the following order of priority: 


– A child who is currently at Enya’s Childcare, wishing to increase sessions 

– A child with a sibling already at the nursery 

– The date of waiting list registration 


Even though Enya's offers a sibling priority on the waiting list, we still require parents to register their siblings as early as possible. We cannot always guarantee a place, though try our best to accommodate everyone. 


Place offers, cancellations & changes:


Place offers:

If you are top of the waiting list, we will automatically offer you any places that become available, even if the days don’t match your first preference. If you don’t take the offered sessions, your child will be placed back at the top of the waitlist until those sessions are available. We are unable to reserve a childcare place for more than 4 months in advance of your child’s start date. Should you wish to extend this 4 months period then you will be required to pay your childcare fees in full from the 5th month onwards to keep your childcare place open.


Accepting a place:

In order to accept a place, you are required to pay a deposit of £200 per placement (per family if 2 or more children are joining) which will be held in your account for the duration of care. At the point you accept a place, your £25 refundable waiting list registration fee will become non-refundable (unless your are fully funded). Upon receipt of your deposit we will confirm your sessions are secure. At this stage we will also require key information about your child for your nursery app profile ‘Famly’, and to see a copy of your child’s birth certificate. Enya’s Childcare will be in touch 6 weeks ahead of your start date to set up a convenient time for a home visit.


Acceptance deadline:

When you are offered a place, you will be given 48 hours to accept the place. At this point it will be offered to the next family on the waiting list.


Increase/Decrease days or cancelling your place:

Should you wish to increase your booking pattern we require 24 hours notice subject to availability. If you wish to decrease the number of sessions your child attends/is due to attend, you will able to do so at the start of each term (January, April, September) with a minimum of one month’s notice. If insufficient notice is given then you will be able to continue with the changes from the start of next term. 


Should you wish to cancel your place, notice received prior to 20th of the month requires only the current month and next full month fees, notice received after 20th of the month requires the following 2 full months fees. Notice must be submitted in writing which must then be confirmed by email by Enya’s Childcare. For parents/carers of children in their final year with us, we assume that your child’s last day will be at the end of August (31st August or the last schedule session prior to that date) unless you inform us otherwise with the relevant written notice. 


For school age care; notice received to cancel your placement during July /August holiday period comes into effect in September (notice is applied to term time months of the year only), this is due to annualised ‘averaged’ invoicing as August invoice is already due for the year of care just received.




Cancelling a confirmed place (prior to starting):

Should you wish to cancel your child’s place at Enya’s Childcare prior to starting, we ask that you inform us as soon as possible. Neither your £200 deposit or your £25 waitlist registration fee will be refunded. 



Please let us know of any changes that you wish to make to your waiting list requests. Any updates should be made in writing to info@enyas.co.uk. The registration fee and deposit will need to be paid directly into our bank account via BACS. Please get in touch for more information.


Schedule of Fees

The schedule of fees are available from the setting manager.


All sessions fees (excluding extra sessions) are calculated over 51 weeks of the year that Enya’s Childcare is operational, averaged into 12 monthly payments i.e. each invoice is for 4.25 weeks and you will receive an invoice every month of the year. Monthly payments will include bank and public holidays, which are payable in full.


Fees are due in advance; we issue invoices on the 13th of each month for the following month of care, providing a week to settle until the 20th of each month. Unfortunately there can be no refunds for sickness or holidays.


Our annual review and any resulting fee increase are calculated in February and are based on the previous year’s running costs. These are then applied in the following April's invoice.



Information held by Enya’s Childcare regarding my child will be treated as confidential.



7. Booking Pattern


For our before & after school booking patterns, only bank holidays during term time will be charged for.


Regular Booking Pattern

We only accept a minimum of a 2 day weekly booking patterns for Pre-School placements. 


Preschool Term Time Only

We do not offer term-time childcare for parents on the Preschool Package. We operate the preschool all year round and fees are calculated on a 51 week booking pattern, during this period full fees do apply. For those who are claiming Early Years Entitlement Funding, full fees only apply to the hours over and above your funded hours per week plus any consumables charge.


Emergency day swaps: 

Subject to availability, in cases of sickness or unforeseen absence, we can offer 1day swap per month, to be used in the same calendar month so that the session is not completely lost. An admin fee of £10 for preschool sessions will be payable or 50% of the changed session cost for Before & After School. Bank holidays and closures are exempt.


Ad hoc days: 

Subject to availability, you can purchase extra ad hoc days at the standard daily rate. Ad hoc days can be booked a maximum of two weeks before the requested date due to potentially disrupting future full time placements.


Plan swaps:

Please note, we do not allow plan swaps between families or between siblings. 



8. Discounts and Absences

5 day Discount

For Pre-School children who attend 5 days a week receives a 5% discount on their booking pattern. This does not apply to extra sessions, ad hoc days or emergency day swaps.


For school children who attend 5 days a week for both a before and after school session each day receives a 5% discount on their booking pattern. This does not apply to extra sessions.


For school children who attend 5 days in one week for holiday club sessions receives a 5% discount on their booking.


Sibling Discount

There is a 10% discount if you have two siblings in nursery at the same time. The discount is applied to the child with fewer sessions, or to the oldest child if equal number of sessions, for as long as you have two or more children with us. This is applicable only on the booking pattern and does not include extra sessions or additional hours.



You will notify Enya’s Childcare before the start of the session if your child is booked to attend but will not be present. You understand that you will be charged for the booked session.


Full fees remain payable for periods of absence (Holidays and Sickness) as the child’s place is kept open and staff and associated costs continue to accumulate and be met by the setting. We do still require that you contact the setting with four weeks written notice to advise us of any absence in advance in order that we can record these.


If a child is hospitalised due to an emergency we will look to come to an arrangement on a case-by-case basis.



9. Forest School - Wilderness Pathway


The following terms and conditions relate to the Forest School service known as our ‘Wilderness Pathway’ provided at our site located in Crowland. In booking this service it is deemed that you have read and accepted the following terms.


Provision of Service

The Forest School practice is delivered by a qualified Forest School leader who is qualified to minimum level three and has certification in outdoor paediatric first aid. All Forest School sessions are pre planned and risk assessed to comply with health and safety regulations and established working practices. All Forest School staff hold current CRB advanced disclosure certification which are monitored and updated on an annual basis. The content, length of session and any other aspects of service provision are at the sole discretion of the Forest School leader; in the interest of safety matters their decision is final. Parent(s) arrival or participation on our forest school site during our sessions is by invitation only and is not permitted without consent from Enyas Childcare and especially without a member of the team present at all times. In such occurrences of a parent(s) arriving on site, we may then be forced to finish the session and return to the setting where more information will be provided.


Requirements for Participation

It is a fundamental requirement of Forest School practice that all participants are equipped with suitable clothing at all times and arrive prior to the session start time. It is the participant’s sole responsibility to ensure that they have as a minimum the following items in order to take part in a session. 


1. Sturdy waterproof boots or Wellingtons

2. Two pairs of socks

3. Sturdy/substantial full length trousers, Jeans etc.

(no shorts)

4. A long sleeved top

5. A long sleeved fleece type jacket/overcoat

( waterproof with hood preferred)

6. A woollen Hat (Especially in Winter)

7. A pair of Gloves (Especially in Winter)


Accidents/ Incidents

In a perfect world there would be no accidents, however some times things do happen unexpectedly and action to remedy must be taken. In the event of any accident/incident the overall responsibility and decision making process will be solely with the Forest School Leader. All our staff are fully trained and qualified and as such will confidently handle any situation that may arise. However, should an incident/accident occur that is outside of the capabilities of our staff we reserve the right to act without further authority, in the best interests of the person(s) affected. This also includes the administration and application of First Aid, removal by ambulance to Hospital or any other matters that may arise.


Booking and Placements

Forest School sessions are booked in termly blocks (Autumn, Spring, Summer) following our funding schedule, and once booked will continue to rollover through each term unless notice is given to discontinue the Forest School placement. One-off sessions can not be booked unless you currently have a regular placement and wish to book an additional ‘ad-hoc’ session.


All bookings and reservations are accepted on the understanding that should matters outside of our control become apparent, i.e. extreme weather conditions or forced closure of the setting, we reserve the right to vary, alter, adjust or ultimately cancel the reserved session. Refunds cannot be given for cancelled sessions due to weather conditions or a child’s non-attendance of sessions including if the child is deemed ill as costs are still incurred. 


Should the Forest School Lead fall ill or have holiday booked on a Forest School day, all possible steps will be made to inform the parent(s) and where possible will endeavour to re book at a time convenient to all parties. Should it not be possible to re book a session due to Forest School diary capacity, then a full refund of fees will be made. Should a re-booking of the cancelled session not be possible due to a date not being available from our customers side, then there will be no refund provided for that lost session.


To cancel a Forest School placement, you are required to provide the normal notice period. Enyas Childcare Forest School reserves the right to refuse bookings to any group or individual without the need to give reasons solely at the discretion of Enyas Childcare Forest School. Any payment accompanying the booking will be returned


Pricing and Payment

There is a £5 fee per session for Forest School sessions and they are paid for in advance in termly blocks (Payment to be received by the 20th of the month prior to the start of term). Failure to pay the balance in full 1 month prior to the commencement of the programmes will result in the booking being cancelled, the parent(s) will forfeit any earlier fees paid and no alternative dates will be arranged. 


Whilst every effort is made to honour prices given at the time of booking Enyas Childcare Forest School reserves the right to alter prices should its costs increase for reasons beyond its reasonable control (including without limitation the cost of staffing, transport, location/premise and materials). In the event that a price is altered the parent(s) will be notified as soon as reasonably possible and the balance of the altered price will be payable on the same terms as was the original price. In the event of the price increasing by over 20% the parent(s) may opt to cancel the booking and will then be entitled to a full refund.


Variation of sessions 

Enyas Childcare Forest School session is by its very nature subject to natural forces. Whilst every reasonable effort is made to comply with planned content, Enyas Childcare Forest School reserves the right to vary or modify a course itinerary at short notice in order to take advantage of naturally prevailing conditions. The parent(s) acknowledges that information provided by Enyas Childcare Forest School is given to the best of our ability but because of the variability of nature it may be reasonable to alter or modify a session. In such circumstances it is not reasonable for Enyas Childcare Forest School to be liable for any losses consequential on such a change and that Enyas Childcare Forest School liability is limited accordingly.



Insurance and Liability

All activities conducted under the name of Enyas Childcare Forest School are protected and insured under specialist insurance policy. We are covered for both public and employer’s liability so parents can rest assured that all eventualities are covered. Enyas Childcare Forest School is covered to a level of £5,000,000 for Public Liability and is insured as a Forest School provider. Enyas Childcare Forest School parents are advised to provide their own personal insurance cover. Please note the conditions with your policy with regard "Hazardous Activities" and "working with hand tools”. The liability of the Forest School practice does not cover the personal belongings of any individual taking part in any session reserved, therefore it must be fully understood that we are not responsible for the loss, damage or destruction of any personal goods however so caused. All activities undertaken at Forest School are done so completely at the individuals own risk.


Publication Rights and Obligations

Any photographic images and/or recordings of Forest School sessions taken by Enya’s Childcare Staff remain the property of Enya’s Childcare Ltd. Enya’s Childcare Forest School reserve the right to use any such images and/or recordings in their promotion/advertising campaigns in the future. Any person who does not wish for their images to be used in this manner can request their removal through the permissions given via the ‘Famly’ app.


Indemnity Statement

Taking part in Forest School sessions is conditional on individuals recognising that there will be activities where the potential for misadventure exists, including personal injury.

I declare that in the event of any claim of compensation for an incident, the claim will only be against another party directly involved in that incident. No compensation will be sought from the Company or directors unless they are found, by law, to have acted in a negligent or illegal manner. All safety rules and procedures must be followed. Any hazards found in / on the site must be reported to a Forest School Leader who will take all reasonable steps to ensure every participant is made aware of the hazard.


Complaints Process 

Any complaints regarding Forest School sessions and practice should be directed initially to the Forest School Leader. Should you not be content with the result of this enquiry you may escalate your complaint by writing to the company directors. Your complaint will be read, assessed, and replied to within two weeks of the date of the complaint letter arriving at Forest School. The decision of the company director will be deemed to be final and any course of action decided will be instructed immediately.


I declare that I have read and agree to the content of this document. I have discussed the content with my child/ren and made them aware of the Forest School rules.



10. Early Years Entitlement (EYE/FEYE)


The Early Years Funding Entitlement and Extended Early Education and Childcare hours are provided free at the point of delivery. As per our policy, Enya’s Childcare charge for the additional hours provided outside of the funded hours. There is a consumables charge of £4.50 per session that covers all food and drink (breakfast options, morning snack, afternoon snack and fruits), outsourced extra curricular sessions e.g music & sign, sports program etc that are not included within the funding allowance which allows us to deliver an outstanding service.


Early Years Funding Entitlement (15 hours): 


Early Years Funding Entitlement is the Government funding which pays for up to 570 hours per year of funded education or childcare to all three and four year old children in England, from the term after their third birthday. This is for a maximum of 15 hours per week. 


Enya’s Childcare offer one method of utilising the Early Years Funding Entitlement (15 hours):


  • A ‘stretched offer’ whereby the funding is stretched over 47.5 weeks of the year. Applied over 47.5 weeks, the Early Years Funding Entitlement (15 hours) equates to 12 hours per week. We apply a charge for the additional hours outside of the funded hours. (note that we are closed bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year).  


Extended Funding Early Education and Childcare (30 hours):


Enya’s Childcare offer one method of utilising the Extended Funding Early Education and Childcare (30 hours): 


  • A ‘stretched offer’ whereby the funding is stretched over 47.5 weeks of the year. Applied over 47.5 weeks, the Early Years Funding Entitlement (30 hours) equates up to 24 hours per week totalling 1140 hours for the year. Eligible parents are able to claim this full entitlement over four sessions. We apply a charge for the additional hours outside of the funded hours. (note that we are closed bank holidays and between Christmas and New Year).


Please note:

Utilising funding at our setting is completely optional at point of discussion, once you have decided to opt in to utilise your funded entitlement, then this is contractual and must be upheld on a monthly basis, until you choose to opt out and not use the EYE funding. To opt out, our normal notice period is required.


If you have several remaining EYE hours (eg. 6 hours of your 24hours) and wish to utilise them at Enya’s Childcare within a 8am - 3pm session, the hour over and above (6 hours) will be charged at our normal rate. Alternatively, you have the option to access those funded hours at any other provider. If you wish to only use your funded hours with us, please make contact to discuss your options.


If you choose to not attend your funded sessions due to holiday breaks or other engagements, your normal booking pattern and the attached funded hours and fees will be claimed for as costs are still incurred to reserve this placement during the absence.


If your normal booking pattern includes hours over and above the amount of EYE funded hours claimed at Enya's Childcare, then those hours over and above will be charged at our normal rate during non-funded weeks of the year, even if not attended. You are welcome to attend and utilise those hours that are over and above and being paid for, however it must be within a full session and the additional cost to make up that full session will be charged.


To secure a future EYE funded placement, a registration fee & place deposit is required with the same terms as a non-funded placement as reads above in Clause 6 ‘accepting a Place'.


Without notice, Enya's Childcare has the right to alter if they offer EYE funded hours and if so, how many hours they choose to offer per day. 



11. Childcare Vouchers


Childcare Voucher Payments

Currently each parent is able to claim up to £124 (high rate tax payer) or £243 (standard rate tax payer) per month.


If your wage payment date falls after the 28th of the current month the voucher payment will be deducted from the following months invoice.  The voucher company pays the setting directly. Please request the setting voucher setup document to utilise this service.



12. Additional Days/sessions


Early Birds

This is not currently available for Pre-School children.


Extra Sessions / Ad Hoc

If extra sessions/ad hoc have been added later in the month after invoices have been finalised, the extra sessions will be added to the following months invoice that is yet to be sent.



13. Payment of Your Education Fees


Your First Invoice

We will create your first invoice from your child’s first day of attendance. This invoice must be paid in advance before your child’s first day of attendance.


Payment of Fees (Monthly in advance)

Fees are due monthly in advance in accordance to your booking pattern, you will receive your invoice on the 13th of the month and have 7 days to settle by the 20th of each month. If the settlement of fee’s are not received by the 20th of each month, no place will be secured and late payment fees will apply until settled.


Method of Payment

We accept payments by Cash, Direct Debit and voucher schemes only. We do not accept invoice payments via BACS transfer, to process these payments requires additional administration and as such will incur an additional fee of £10 per transaction.


Parents must contact the manager if they are having any difficulties with payment of fees. For dishonoured payments, late fee’s apply, which will be added to the amount of the fees sought from the parent. In these instances, Enya’s Childcare reserves the right to add on any other reasonable costs incurred in seeking payment.

Non Payment of Fees

A late payment fee of 4% of your outstanding balance will be applied daily to the balance. We encourage parents to communicate with us if they are having difficulty paying their fees as it may be possible to set up a payment plan to support you. Unfortunately, if an outstanding balance runs into the second week of the month following an unpaid invoice without agreement being reached with the parents/carers then the nursery will be forced to suspend the child’s entry. This remains the case until an agreement is put in place.


Early Drop Off / Late pick up

There will be a charge for early drop off’s or late pick-up’s at the rate of £5 for every 10 minutes per child. This charge is in place due to ratio management being disrupted.



14. Cancellation of Your Childcare Place


Termination of Contract

Should you wish to cancel your place, notice received prior to 20th of the month requires only the current month and next full month fees, notice received after 20th of the month requires the following 2 full months fees. Notice is required in writing or by email to the setting manager, and our child may attend during this time unless you have breached the childcare contract terms and conditions. The notice and associated childcare fees will be charged even if notice is not given.


We reserve the right to exclude a child from Setting for any breach of the childcare contract. We may terminate your childcare contract if your child's behaviour at the setting is deemed by us to be unacceptable or endanger the safety and well-being of other children at the setting. It is your responsibility to obtain a receipt from the setting manager as your proof of termination. 


Upon termination of this contract the child shall not be permitted entry to the setting. This shall be regarded as a formal demand for all outstanding monies and we will issue a final invoice and pass this to a debt collection agency for full recovery. In addition you will be liable for all associated debt collection fees and court costs.


15. Policies and Procedures


I consent for my child to attend Enya’s Childcare. I understand that the setting has policies and procedures (which are accessible at the setting for reference at all times), and that there are expectations and obligations relating to Enya’s Childcare, myself and my child, and I agree to abide by them.


The four policies below (Confidentiality and Client Access to Records, General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Information Sharing and Child Protection Policy) are viewable and downloadable for you to read. You agree that you have read and understood the four policies below as part of the agreement to the terms and conditions.
