We believe in all children fulfilling their potential and this can not be done by providing a generic base for learning. We tailor our resources and planning to meet the individual needs and interests of our preschoolers, so that each and every one of them can achieve.

We strongly believe in following our own rhythm at Enya’s Childcare, listening to the children’s interests and creating a natural and rich learning environment which supports and nourishes the individual children within it. We have a strong focus on social collaboration, working in groups, where each child is an equal participant, having their thoughts and questions valued. At Enya’s we have adopted the Reggio Emilia approach; this is based on a fundamental respect for children and their innate capacity to imagine, play, instigate and maintain curiosity in the world around them.We value natural learning in natural environments and take our children out on daily nature hunts and excursions - offering an infinite source of smells, textures, sounds and tastes; a range of visual stimuli from near to far, high to low, very big to very small.

As an integral part of your child’s development, we greatly value your perspectives, ideas and contributions and hope to create a long-lasting partnership with you during your child’s unique learning journey.

“Partnerships with parents are exemplary. Staff use a variety of highly successful ways to keep parents well informed of their child's development. They provide excellent ideas and activities for parents to support their children's learning at home. “

We understand that leaving your child for the first time can be unsettling for both parent and child. We want to ease any unrest as much as possible, so we offer a tailored separation process.

"A highly effective key-person system enables staff to understand the unique individual needs of all children. New children settle into the nursery quickly. Settling-in procedures are tailored to each child and their family's needs." - OFSTED
